I'm writing & illustrating WHERE ARE MY BOOKS?, a picture book for Simon & Schuster Books For Young Readers. My illustrations appear in I'M BORED, a picture book written by Michael Ian Black, published by Simon & Schuster Books For Young Readers (Sept/2012). I'M BORED was chosen by The New York Times for its Notable Children's Books Of 2012 list. I have other upcoming illustration projects with Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins and Random House. I have published one non-fiction book (The Writer's Online Marketplace, Writer's Digest) as well as a number of fiction and non-fiction short pieces in books, magazines and online venues. I was founder and editor of Inkspot, a site for writers which won a bunch of awards and had a newsletter circulation of nearly 50,000. I sold the Web site just at the Internet mania bubble burst.

I'm a filker, writing songs for and performing with Urban Tapestry. I'm editor of Debbie's Filk FAQ.
