My filk group was honoured to be inducted into the Filk Hall Of Fame this past weekend.

Some personal thoughts.

Whenever UT performed on the FKO stage, I always tend to look for smiling faces to help calm my nervousness (and I'm ALWAYS nervous :-D) -- yours is always one I look for since your smile is SO wonderful.

A richly deserved hono(u)r for all three of you, singly and together. I'm one of those I-suppose-no-longer-newbies who's gradually shed timidity and grown a bit in musical ability and confidence over the past several years, and UT (again, both singly and collectively) have been among the people who have encouraged me -- both directly in some cases but mostly indirectly, though the general welcoming, accepting and enthusiastic vibe you demonstrate. Someone -- Allison, I think, posted in LJ awhile back about "paying it forward" in the filk community, and you're prime examples of people who have done and are doing that. Even leaving your music aside -- though, y'know, who wants to do that? -- those deep contributions make you Hall-Of-Famers.
